Brushing needn't leave you sour faced. This sparkling powder is sweetened with cleansing xylitol and tasty strawberry extract for effective yet playful cleanses. Stevia and xylitol not only lend a sweet taste, but suppress bacterial growth, and refresh your mouth for that magically clean feeling. Adults can easily turn their toothbrush into a magic wand by wetting it under the tap, shaking off surplus water and pressing into their tooth powder for delightfully soft and effective washes.

First up, as a toothpaste alternative, it works fine. If you've used Lush's tabs before you'll probably be familiar with the underlying taste, the foam, and the way it seems to 'warm up' in your mouth (as opposed to most commercial toothpastes, which have a 'cooling' effect). It's different, but not unpleasant. Teeth feel clean afterwards and there's no drastic aftertaste. You won't be "minty fresh" after using this because as far as I'm aware there's no mint or mint-like substances in it, but your mouth will be clean.
Now to the bad stuff, and the reason I've rated it so low.

One of the many reasons I buy Lush products is because they work. I had been using Bling and Oral Pleasure Toothy Tabs and loved these. When I went into buy some more Oral Pleasure I was told that both Oral Pleasure and Bling Tabs were being discontinued, much to my disappointment. The very nice assistant said she used Tooth Fairy so I decided to give it a go. I had no preconceived ideas and was curious to try a powder. I loved Tooth Fairy from the first time I used it. The taste is different but pleasant. I loved the texture in my mouth and how smooth my teeth felt after after brushing.Read More
