Solve the case with this citrusy shampoo bar that promises serious shine. Green olives improve the tensile strength of hair whilst cleansing rosemary absolute, Sicilian lemon oil and freshly squeezed lemon juice make hair gleam from root to tip.

I love this shampoo bar! My hair feels clean, fresh and soft. If I blow dry it it drys beautifully with great shine and if I let it dry naturally I get beautiful curls and waves. I have recently stopped conditioning my hair as it always feels so heavy when I do and I am really impressed with how soft...

After going through a bottle of shampoo every three weeks, from day-to-day washing, I was overjoyed to discover the Montalbano! After explaining to an instore worker about my interest in the solid shampoos (no waste/plastic) and my then need to wash my hair every day, I was overjoyed to be recommended the shampoo.

This bar is excellent for oilier hair or types that require daily washing. It is the perfect scent for morning showers, the citrus is uplifting but not over-the-top and it helps wake me up every day. It leaves my hair shiny and clean, and you don't need much per wash- just remember to lather up over the whole scalp or you may end up with some oilier patches. Recommend pairing with a moisturising conditioner bar such as Sugar Daddy-O or American Cream. I found the combination of this and the Jungle conditioner bar left my hair a bit dry.

This bar does a good enough job of cleaning your hair, I have a very oily scalp and find that it almost makes it dry as long as I make sure to really lather up and all over.
My main issue is that the bar itself has very little integrity and mine has absolutely fallen to pieces. It sticks to any dish you put it on and then breaks off in tiny clumps. This means that I’ve been having to break off little pieces and am therefore going through it very quickly meaning that it is extremely expensive.
Love that it’s plastic free but not sure I can justify ongoing purchases.
